This study is aimed at revealing the content and legal nature of the norms concerning the termination of an employment contract and disciplinary liability in the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a comprehensive analysis of them from a theoretical and practical point of view. The study identifies formalities, legal gaps and gaps in practice in the procedures for termination of an employment contract and the imposition of disciplinary measures. In addition, an in-depth legal analysis of the relevant norms of the Labor Code is being conducted. The obtained scientific results indicate the need to harmonize the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan with international standards, the relevance of systematization and improvement of law enforcement practice. The results of the study play an important role in improving the effectiveness of regulation of labor rights and labor relations at the present stage.
