The article considers the concept of causing harm to health in accordance with the Regulatory Decree of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 11, 2007 "On the qualification of certain criminal offenses against human life and health" and in the Rules for the Organization and production of forensic examinations and research in forensic examination bodies approved by the Order of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 27, 2017 contradiction in terms and the proposed solution.
