At the present time, communication and information technologies have been introduced in
various spheres of society. They are improving rapidly.
The active and widespread introduction of information technology has caused a change in the
list of economic crimes. Such unlawful actions include computer crimes that cause harm the
economy of the state, its individual sectors, business activities, and the economic interests of certain
groups of citizens.
Today, not just individuals but also entire states can become victims of criminals operating in
the virtual space. The security of thousands of users could end up in the hands of a few criminals.
The number of crimes committed in cyberspace is growing in proportion to the number of users of
computer networks, and the growth rate of crime on the global Internet is the fastest on the planet.
