The study analyzes the classification model of administrative procedural legal relations from
the standpoint of the general theory of legal relations. The classification of administrative
procedural legal relations is considered as a way of dividing phenomena and concepts into certain
types. This circumstance made it possible to single out the specifics of legal relations, their
diversity, properties, connections and dependencies, general and specific, and through this to delve
into their essence. It is substantiated that the modeling process in this paradigm is based, as a rule,
on typological and specific classification criteria. The basis of this process is the generally accepted
postulates of the theory of law on the grounds for classification, as well as a criterion based on the
appointment (service role) of the legal relationship in the mechanism of legal regulation.
The study of the problem of classification of administrative legal relations made it possible to
conclude that there are a variety of approaches to this issue. Administrative procedural legal
relations are characterized by common features of administrative legal relations. The theoretical
model for the classification of administrative procedural legal relations is significantly enriched
with a list of classification grounds.
