The article discusses the legal mechanisms of international cooperation in combating corruption. The article analyzes the legal instruments and approaches that the international community uses to combat corruption, and the phenomenon of corruption itself is considered a global threat. The authors' attention is focused on the analysis of key international agreements and initiatives that form a stable legal framework for the joint fight against this negative phenomenon. The article analyzes such international documents as the UN Convention against Corruption, the Convention on Combating Bribery and others, and the practical application of these mechanisms at the level of modern states. Much attention is paid by the authors to the analysis of existing challenges and barriers faced by States in the implementation of international agreements, as well as insufficient legal framework at the national level, differences in legal systems and lack of resources to effectively combat corruption. The study highlights the importance of multilateral cooperation and recommends a number of measures to strengthen legal mechanisms at the international and national levels. Effective international cooperation is an important success factor in the fight against corruption, which ultimately contributes to strengthening the rule of law and stability in every State.
