In the current era, the global regulator of the development of processes in the economic sphere is the layer of information technologies, and in particular the information development of the agricultural sector. The article considers the legal basis for the information development of the agricultural sector, argues the impossibility of such development without the introduction of innovative technologies. The development of informatization of existing processes in the agro-industrial sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan depends on the most elementary factor - ensuring access to the Internet for agricultural producers. Consideration of the problem of digitalization of the agro-industrial complex is based on modern strategic state documents and regulatory legal acts.
