In general, in his article, the author explored the important purpose of judicial control in pre-trial proceedings on the protection of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen. This issue becomes clear when analyzing the subject of judicial control established by the legislator in pre-trial proceedings. In addition, it is indicated that the reason for the appearance of the investigating judge exercising judicial control is the protection and control over the preservation of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens participating in this criminal process.
