In the course of debates for many years on the expediency of development and introduction of an independent administrative procedural code in the system of branches of legal proceedings of the Republic of Kazakhstan one more code in the national legislation has been introduced. Administrative Procedural Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan was adopted by the Law of RK dated June 29, 2020
№ 350-VI. Thereby the issue of delimitation of material and procedural branches in the sphere of administrative legal relations was implemented. This was to a certain extent due to the provision of the RK Constitution stating that "judicial power shall be exercised through civil, criminal and other forms of legal proceedings established by law" (Article 75 par 2). It was assumed that administrative procedural legal proceedings should have been another form. The Code came into force on 1 July 2021. Along with the undoubted advantages in the given Code are perceived certain controversial provisions.
