Currently, relations in the field of public-private partnership (PPP) are regulated in the legislation of most states that use this mechanism of interaction between state bodies and private business. The article discusses the most important prerequisites for the development of public-private partnerships, presents the main forms and organizational and legal models, as well as the legal framework governing the interaction of public-private partnership entities in the implementation of socially significant projects. The study identified the main trends in the regulation of PPPs at the international and national level; revealed the conditions for a more reasonable choice of foreign models of legal regulation of PPP to improve the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
