The fundamental basis of civil society and the rule of law is the proclamation in the Constitution of the highest value of a person, his rights and freedoms. In the arsenal of the most important components of the legal mechanism for ensuring and protecting these values, a special role belongs to the judiciary,
its bodies and institutions. In accordance with these provisions, the traditional understanding of the court as a specialized body of state power, which performs only one main function - the function of justice, expands to a broader understanding of the court as an independent branch of government, endowed not only with the function of justice, which remains dominant, but also with the function of judicial control. This study is devoted to the problem of judicial control as one of the most important functions of the judiciary.
