Depletion of the ozone layer poses a serious threat to the environment and human health, which leads to consequences such as increased ultraviolet radiation and its adverse effects on living organisms. The article examines international efforts, policies and regulations aimed at ending the use of substances that are known to harm the ozone layer. The scientific basis of these measures and their impact on global environmental sustainability are also being investigated. As the international community continues to grapple with environmental issues, understanding the measures taken to end the use of ozone-depleting substances becomes crucial to building a healthier and more sustainable future.
