The article discusses current problems of regulating gerontological domestic violence and the mechanism for solving this gap in the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Legislative acts related to the problem under study are analyzed.

In conclusion, the article establishes a method for solving such a phenomenon as domestic violence in its gerontological manifestation by expanding the powers of officials and other persons, covering the mentioned problem with legislation on the prevention of domestic violence, legal regulation, vesting special powers with persons acting in the interests of resolving family and domestic conflicts, following the scenario of domestic violence. Thus, the rights of both the victim, especially minors, and the guilty party will be protected.

The author argues that greater control should be exercised and special attention should be paid to this problem, based on the trends of the modern and humane world. The most effective schemes and legal mechanisms aimed at preventing domestic violence involving minors are described. Protection of rights and freedoms, legitimate interests of a person and citizen from domestic violence and its consequences are one of the main tasks for the development of the value and spiritual position of Kazakhstani society.
