The article describes cases when minors have to forcibly recover funds for the maintenance of their parents by agreement or through the court. If it is necessary to pay alimony to retired parents in 2023, legislation and judicial practice have significantly tightened in recent years. There was a separate article on administrative responsibility for evasion of alimony payments. The relevant article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan was amended, and in April 2021 the Resolution of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan on this issue was published.
